Hard work, perseverance and an inquisitive attitude are essential ingredients in the scaling up process of an enterprise. As Chief Scale Up, I have seen time and time again that success does not come naturally. It requires unwavering dedication and a willingness to keep learning and improving.

 

Hard work means that everyone, you the founder and all your employees, puts a lot of effort into achieving the highest quality every step of the way, even when you feel you are almost there. Perseverance is important when you are faced with setbacks or when results are lacking. Continuing to learn is crucial to stay relevant in a rapidly changing market and to keep your business innovating.

 

These three elements together form a powerful foundation for a healthy business. They not only characterize the team of a start-up, but must also be present with new employees you attract to strive together for the success of scaling up the enterprise.
